LAGKING

Terms of Sale

Effective October 3, 2026 · LagKing LLC

These terms apply when you buy a LagKing putting gate or accessory from LagKing LLC (“LagKing,” “we,” or “us”) at lagking.com. You accept them when you check the box at checkout and place your order. Our Returns & Warranty policy and Privacy Policy are part of these terms.

Please read Section 6. It limits copying and reverse engineering of our products, and Section 7 explains what we can do if those limits are broken.

1. Who can order

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. Our checkout is for personal purchases shipped to addresses in the United States. If you want gates for a business, an academy, or another commercial use, write to us first at hello@lagking.com.

2. Orders, prices, and shipping

3. Returns and warranty

Your 30-day money-back guarantee and 12-month limited warranty are described in our Returns & Warranty policy. If these terms and that policy ever disagree about a return or a warranty claim, the policy controls.

4. The app and online features

Your gate works with the LagKing app, which comes with your gate with no subscription. Online features such as leaderboards, friend challenges, and LagKing TV need an account and an internet connection, and they may change over time. The distances, start-line grades, and other results the gate and app show are estimates for practice, not a guarantee of what any putt would do on a real green.

5. Software license

The gate runs firmware, and the app is software. We license our software to you; we don’t sell it. As long as you follow these terms, you may use the firmware on the gate you bought, and the app with your gate, for your personal use. Updates we provide are covered by this license. If you sell or give away your gate, the license goes with it, and the new owner may use our software only on these terms, including Section 6.

6. No copying or reverse engineering

You agree that you will not, and will not help or allow anyone else to:

  1. copy, extract, or read out the gate’s firmware, or decompile, disassemble, or otherwise reverse engineer the firmware or the app, or try to work out their source code;
  2. take apart, scan, or analyze the gate or its parts in order to copy it, to work out how it measures putts, or to make or help make a product that copies it or competes with it;
  3. get around, disable, or tamper with any security or update protection in the gate or the app, or load firmware on the gate that did not come from us;
  4. use the gate, its software, or anything learned from studying them to make, sell, or help develop a competing product, or to apply for a patent; or
  5. remove or change serial numbers, labels, or notices on the gate.

These limits don’t take away any right the law gives you despite a contract saying otherwise, and they don’t stop you from using connection tools or interfaces we publish, under their own license terms. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under law to repair your gate or replace its battery.

7. If Section 6 is broken

Section 6 protects technology we worked hard to build, and breaking it would cause us harm that money alone can’t repair. If you break Section 6:

If either of us goes to court over Section 6, the side that wins may recover its reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs. These rights are in addition to our rights under patent, copyright, trade secret, trademark, and other laws.

8. Our technology and your feedback

LagKing gates are patent pending, and our firmware, app, designs, and brand are protected by law. Buying a gate gives you the gate and the software license in Section 5, and no other rights in our technology or brand. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them freely, without any obligation to you.

9. Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, LagKing is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your purchase or use of our products, and our total liability arising from an order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so these limits may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits our written warranty, or any right you have that the law does not allow a contract to limit.

10. Governing law and disputes

Massachusetts law governs these terms, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Except as described below, any dispute about these terms or your purchase will be decided only in the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts, and you and LagKing agree to their jurisdiction. Either of us may bring a claim that qualifies in small claims court where you live, and LagKing may ask any court with jurisdiction for an order enforcing Section 6.

11. Changes and other terms

We may change these terms at any time. Your order is governed by the version in effect on the day you placed it. These terms, our Returns & Warranty policy, and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement about your purchase. If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don’t enforce a term right away, we have not given it up. We may transfer these terms to a company that acquires our business. Sections 5 through 11 continue after your order is delivered.
